One organized system.

Your business records, brought together.

Generic spreadsheets, PDF records, documents, other accounting software and legacy records flow through Kontab’s Migration Hub and emerge as organized business records. This conceptual illustration does not show the software workflow or promise direct imports for every format.

Example records from a demo business. The tasks and review required depend on your migration approach.

What can you bring?

Use the templates and record types available in your Migration Hub session. Your plan, starting position, and selected approach determine the available imports.

The people and products

Customer lists, suppliers, and product records help establish the business you will work with in Kontab.

Your opening position

Prepare bank balances, amounts customers owe, amounts owed to suppliers, stock on hand, and other opening figures as at your chosen starting date.

Additional records

Outstanding invoices and bills, fixed assets, and certain history imports are available for compatible migration setups. Confirm the scope before preparing large exports.

Spreadsheets are a starting point.

Structured imports use the CSV templates provided in the hub. PDF records, scans, and notes can help you prepare and review figures; they are not a promise that every document can be imported automatically. Export records from your previous software instead of assuming a direct connection.

  1. Choose your starting date.

Agree the date and opening figures with your accountant. Keep a backup of the original records.

  2. Gather and organize.

Export lists and balances. Remove duplicates, check names and currencies, and keep documents that explain the figures.

  3. Map and review.

Match your information to the available templates. Resolve flagged issues and reconcile totals before confirmation.

  4. Confirm the opening picture.

Complete the review and sign-off required for your migration setup. Keep the source records for future reference.

Assistance, timing, and any charges depend on the scope. Tell us what you are moving so we can confirm the right approach.
